Symposium Registration

Enabling participation

We want to make the AusMob symposium as inclusive and accessible as possible. To support broad participation, we are not charging a registration fee. We recognise that many of our attendees and presenters are travelling from interstate and overseas, and we want to reduce financial barriers wherever we can.

As AusMob does not operate on a membership model, we’re keeping things simple when it comes to catering. Lunch and breaks will be self-catered, giving everyone the opportunity to explore the excellent and affordable cafes and takeaway options just a short walk from our venue.

IN-PERSON ONLY

This is an in-person only event and there will not be a virtual participation option. Based on feedback from previous AusMob symposia, we have decided that an in-person only event maximises opportunities to engage and share ideas for those present.

COVID-SAFE EVENT

We understand that in-person events carry some health considerations. To help minimise risk, both theatres used for the symposium are equipped with high-capacity air purifiers to support clean airflow throughout the event. You're of course very welcome to wear an N95 mask or similar at any time during the event.

However, if you are presenting a paper, there’s no need to register—we already know you’re coming!
